The ForeGIF is Foreground’s digital initiative to preserve, celebrate, and circulate iconic moments from Black LGBTQIA+ film, television, and theatre—one GIF at a time.

As a living archive of gesture, expression, and joy, The ForeGIF reclaims visual space across the internet and social media, ensuring our stories are seen, shared, and remembered. GIFs are tools by which we communicate on social media and between friends and family. By offering more Black LGBTQIA+ GIFs to the world, our stories become a greater part of the conversation.

Through curated drops, community submissions, and thematic series, The ForeGIF will capture the nuances and gems of Black, queer people on film. Whether it's a knowing glance, a line that lives rent-free, or a moment that still makes us feel everything.

Because some stories are just one unforgettable loop.
